Specifically, medical grade chemical peels are solutions that are specifically designed to break connective bonds between the top layer of dead skin cells and the layer beneath when applied. Unlike exfoliation and scrubs, chemical peels consistently and evenly remove the dead skin cells over the course of a few days. Once the dead skin cells have peeled or flaked off, you are left with more youthful-appearing, healthy skin!
