Microdermabrasion is a technique used to resurface and exfoliate the skin. It removes the superficial, damaged and dead skin on the surface layer. After treatments, while your skin remains sensitive, it is best to avoid exposure to the sun to best protect your skin. This is important to know when scheduling your treatment as leaving for the beach the next day may put your skin at additional, unnecessary risk.

After your microdermabrasion skin rejuvenation treatment, patients can expect the treated skin to be red and sensitive. The appearance of the treated skin will then gradually become brighter, smoother and clearer as hydration improves and collagen returns to the area. These results can be expected to last for up to months at a time!
